Unique Things to Do in Corvallis, OR: 6 Must-Do Activities | Redfin
“Heart of a runner but cycling fan since I was a kid, I end up at The Cycle Lab due to a knee injury. Needed some “biking physical therapy” so I decided to enroll in the spinning classes. What started as a recovery exercise, soon became a morning workout tradition for me. The coaches are great, the place is clean, the bikes are in shape, the atmosphere is fantastic. Water and coffee available if you want !!!!! Definitely you get spoiled and IN SHAPE here !!!!!. Love it”
“Really great low impact way to get an AMAZING workout. I have some joint issues and can consistently push myself harder here than almost any other workout setting. I am not a big fan of cardio exercise generally and I love coming to these classes. While instructors encourage you to push yourself, it’s very scalable to wherever you are in your fitness levels. Turns out a dance party on a bicycle is a really fun way to improve your fitness.”
“Spin has transformed my physical and mental health. I’ve never been able to stick to working out for more than a couple months before I tried spin. The instructors are just incredibly kind and supportive, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come over the last two years. Forever grateful for the Cycle Lab for showing me that working out can actually be so so fun! 💙”
“Cycle has become my daily therapy! I’ve seen improvements in my body and mood since I started. Thanks!”
“I absolutely loved Cycle Lab! I was, for the first time ever, honestly excited to exercise. You guys made it so fun and I miss it so much! I plan on moving back in a few months so you’ll see me then💜”
“I’ve been attending classes here for almost a year, roughly 1-2x week, and it has saved my soul. I can’t keep this short because there are so many things that are consistently great about this place. Signing up for the first class was a big step out of my comfort zone, but they make it so easy to be there and have everything you need (come 10-15 mins early, though!). The people here are so kind and welcoming- and not in the weird scary way that can sometimes be a thing in fitness centers- everyone who works here will make sure you feel cared for and seen, and will meet you where you’re at. They’re great with communication if you have questions about classes and logistics with memberships. Diversity is honored here: all genders, ages, body types, cultural backgrounds, etc. ride together. I love the catharsis that I feel after sweating and spinning to the rhythm of really good music. They’re always changing up the playlists and keeping it fresh and motivating. I never thought I’d enjoy riding stationary bikes (I used to think they were such a silly invention) but it’s such a great way to process a lot of mental noise without wrecking your joints. As a former yoga instructor, this has been the most sustainable thing I could do for my body and mind aside from an asana practice, especially after enduring a hard season in life this past year both physically and mentally. I’m very grateful to all the staff and instructors for all that they do <3”
